About Takane System
Takane System is an independent software company based in Imphal, Manipur, in India's North East. Takane Serve is our first product: a QR code menu, ordering and payments system for cafés, restaurants, cloud kitchens and food stalls.
Why we built Takane Serve
Taking orders at the table and getting paid shouldn't need expensive hardware, or an app that takes a cut of every bill. Most guests already carry a phone with a UPI app, and most kitchens already have a phone or a laptop. Takane Serve connects the two: guests scan a QR code, order and pay; the kitchen sees the ticket at once; and the money goes straight from the guest to the restaurant's own bank account.
From there we added what owners asked for next: changing and cancelling orders, raw-material inventory that sells items out automatically, and simple daily, weekly and monthly reports that show whether the business actually made a profit.
What we stand for
- No commission. One flat monthly price. Your guests' UPI payments never pass through us.
- Honest billing. Plans never renew automatically, we remind you before one ends, and you can delete your store yourself at any time.
- Your data is yours. We don't sell it, don't show ads and don't train AI on it. See our privacy policy.
- Built for India. UPI first, English and Hindi menus, GST-style tax and receipts on WhatsApp.
The people behind it
Takane System was founded by Heisnam Pravin Singh (founder) and Ketanjit Ningthoujam (co-founder), who design, build and support Takane Serve from Imphal. Every new store is reviewed by a person before it goes live, and support emails are answered by the team that writes the software.
The name
高嶺 (takane) is Japanese for “lofty peak”: software that small businesses can reach for. Takane Serve is the first of a family of products we plan for restaurants, retail, clinics and small businesses.
